Account Manager San Francisco, CA

The Role

You will own all the customer facing operations with our rental partners. You'll be the backstop for transactions on Yard Club and work directly with our customers to help them be successful. You'll also bring qualitative and quantitative customer insights to our developer team to help shape our product. You'll take the lead on major initiatives and see them through to success.

What you'll be doing:

  • Build and grow relationships with our rental partners and their customers to help drive adoption of the industry’s premier rental application
  • Query, analyze, and report user engagement data on Yard Club's rental application
  • Provide customer feedback and troubleshoot light technical issues for the product team
  • Travel to customer sites to help them solve problems and learn to use Yard Club
  • Contribute to a fast-moving, fun office culture in the heart of San Francisco

Skills & Requirements

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience, preferably in an analytical field such as engineering, economics, or math
  • 2-4 years experience in a customer-facing role, preferably at a technology company in user operations or sales, with a demonstrated record of superior performance.
  • An entrepreneurial streak: You should relish the opportunity to make things better and have a strong sense of ownership and initiative. You should embrace change and should love moving fast.
  • Comfort with data: You should easily frame and analyze big data problems. Strong proficiency in data analysis software such as SQL, Excel, or R preferred.
  • Authenticity: You should be able to communicate in a simple, natural, honest, and kind way.
  • Passion for construction: You should love big machines and interacting with the men and women who build our world.
